In-Depth Review
The Arlo Pro 4 is the wireless security camera we recommend most. 2K HDR video captures crisp detail day and night, and the color night vision (via the integrated spotlight) is genuinely useful — most cameras show grainy black-and-white; the Arlo shows colorful, identifiable footage. No hub is required (unlike older Arlo models) — it connects directly to Wi-Fi 5. The 160° diagonal field of view captures wide scenes, and two-way audio with siren helps deter intruders. Battery life lasts 3–6 months. Cloud storage requires Arlo Secure subscription, but local USB storage is available as well.
